Specialising in small to medium batch quantities, we work with you from developing the initial concept, through the design and engineering process to reach the final product. We are in a strong position to assist and support customers and are committed to achieving a ‘right first-time’ outcome.

Prototyping can be vital in the testing process, and we work with a diverse range of customers on prototyping. We also understand the importance of quick turnaround in prototyping and are used to working to tight deadlines in order to meet our customer’s needs. We can develop a prototype from an initial sketch, drawing, or detailed schematic so if you are looking to have a one-off, small or medium batch item manufactured or have a product you need to develop, our highly experienced engineering team have the knowledge and experience to help.

Controlled from start to finish by our highly skilled engineering team, we possess the latest CAD SolidWorks design capabilities and machine conversion software (OneCNC), ensuring delivery of a swift and accurate product or project.

All our production capabilities are complemented by a full Quality Control and Inspection Service to ensure our work meets our customers exacting quality standards 100% of the time.

CNC Machining

CNC Machining (Small to medium batch):

We have invested in CNC Machinery and a team of highly qualified engineers to increase efficiency and ensure quality and repeatability, so we are confident we can provide our customers with the best solution and service.

CNC Turning

We provide CNC turning services with driven tooling to offer a combined machining process, resulting in more efficient manufacture with reduced set-up. Developments on cutter technology and coatings allows increased amounts of hard machining to produce previously unachievable surface finish and tolerance, without the need for grinding.

Size offering 350mm diameter, down spindle of 76.2mm, 3mtr bar feeds, shaft turning to 600mm.

Manual Turning

We have also retained the capability for manual turning to 2.5mtrs and 450mm diameter for ultra-quick one-off turnaround projects.

CNC Milling

We offer competitive CNC Milling for both prototype and batch production in a variety of different plastic and metal materials, and our double-digit volume of milling equipment ensures the capacity to serve all project and volume requirements. Our milling equipment offers both horizontal and vertical platforms using the latest 3,4 and 5 axis milling equipment and twin pallet loading facilities. Sizes offered are 1000 x 600 x 500mm max work dimensions. Data is downloaded directly to the milling CAD/CAM programming facility (CNC), and a dedicated satellite inspection area gives the benefit of using our Mitutoyo CMM to report on conformity ensuring tight quality control.

CMM Inspection and Reporting

We offer full CMM Inspection and Reporting services as a stand-alone ancillary service, or to complement our key machining competencies. We take CAD models or drawings and translate them in to CMM programmable data to carry out complete component inspection and provide a detailed CMM report.
